Chaos Saga: Introduction
It had been contless centuries since he had been thrown in this dark, dank cell that he has now called Hell. All the time he has spent here made his body frail and weak. The powers that had aided him in conquering galaxy after galaxy were nearly depleated, but he didn't really care. He knew that when he escaped from this hell his power would replenish itself, as would his loyal subjects, and then he go on to topple all of the Higher Powers from their place as rulers of the universe.

The slit in the demension of darkness had been found centuries earlier and ever since then the Dark Lord had been expanding it exponentially; it would not be much longer now. Then it happened, it collapsed. The seal that had held him captive for fifteen millenniums buckled. With strength fuled by an unholy desire, he tore free, at last pulling himself from his personal hell and into the universe he'd been born to destroy. The light had its chance, now it will give way to the darkness that is closing in.

The sky over Bora-Bora grew darker as the impending storm announced itself with a brilliant flash of lightning and a deafening roar of thunder. Hours earlier the island had been picturesque; its palm trees swaying gently in the evening breeze and not a cloud in the sky. Then the sky grew ominously dark and swirling clouds materialized out of nowhere, sending the inhabitants of the island scampering for shelter.

After the storm had been terrorizing the small island for several minutes, a squirrel poked his head out of his hole in the tree, hoping to see some sign that worst was over; he did however, notice something out of the ordinary. On the beach there now lay a young man whom had not been there when the storm began. Another flash of lightning was all it took to send the small animal back into his hole. When he peaked out of his hole again, the man was standing, soaked from the storm and unharmed, a tail swaying behind him.

The stranger folded his fur covered arms over his chest, watching as the clouds vanished as if they never were. Then, with an explosion of blood red light, the man shot off into the sky and headed off towards the mainland.

Wraith halted from his training session in the woods and looked up into the sky. Syanide's eyes snapped open, awakening her from her meditative trance and looked towards the sky too. They both extended their senses as far as they could, searching for the immense ki that had caught their attention, but there wasn't anything there. He shrugged, returning to his training and she returned to her intense meditation.

'It can't be,' he thought, 'no one, not even Sion could be that powerful.' He powered up, taking his training to the new heights.

'That has to be Sion, no one on this planet can possibly be that evil.' she thought.

At that same exact moment, Arsynik also looked puzzled as he was met with the same results. Unlike Wraith, he didn't rule out any possiblities; a lifetime spent as a martial arts master had trained all of his senses to exceed most.

"That couldn't be Sion." Arsynik said, staring at Kouken from across the table.

"It could be, he has been gone for a year." He replied.

Kouken didn't enjoy the fact that he was talking to warriors who were aligned with the darkside, but these were trying times; he closed his eyes and left Arsynik to his thoughts.

Arsynik sat at the table inside the temple a little while longer; stunned for the thousandth time at the unforseen events that had led him to this place. Then his mind turned back to the ki he felt. If it is in fact Sion's ki or someone else's, it was huge and already here on the planet. How it had gotten so close undetected baffled him to no end, but he knew he had to train harder if he was to be any type of challenge for this universal threat. If Kouken was right, then they all needed to be at the top of their game.

'Damnit, I have no problem helping the Higher Power, but I"ll be damned if I die fighting for a good cause. I just wonder what Sion is going to think.' he thought as he rose from his chair and headed outside, travelling into the mountains. Where he stayed for the rest of the day.
